Textile Storie is an LA-based vintage brand and consulting practice helping boutique clothing stores integrate curated secondhand into their retail mix.
Founded by Taryn Liberman in 2022, Textile Storie grew out of over six years of active resale, authentication work, and on-the-ground sourcing across Los Angeles — from estate sales and pickers to wholesale lots and premium vintage markets. Before the brand had its current name, Taryn was already hand-making one-of-a-kind pieces from reworked vintage textiles and selling them directly through Instagram DMs. That early following has since grown to nearly 100,000 without paid advertising, making her a recognized voice in vintage fashion and retail. That hands-on expertise now powers two sides of the business: a curated resale shop, and a consulting and sourcing practice built for retailers who want to add vintage without starting from scratch.
